Forte Fleur Floral Design
A Georgia native, Jordan’s affinity for flowers and all things living appeared early on as a child, amidst her lengthy backyard adventures collecting prized blooms, small plant life, and treasured bugs alike. Her interest truly began while touring the country as a singer for a large-scale corporate band, where Jordan was exposed to her hundreds of events, giving her an inside peek at the inner-workings of the floral industry. She was awestruck while watching teams of people build gorgeous hanging installations, load in stunning table arrangements and bouquets, and put the finishing touches on their masterpieces. Eager to be a novice, she put herself in every position to learn more about the floral industry, techniques skills of design, the building process of a wide variety of floral creations, and what running and owning a business truly requires. Whether it was washing buckets, clipping stems, or attending workshops, Jordan spent the better part of two years immersing herself in the world of flowers all across the metro Atlanta area, to which her proclivity and passion to create and design only grew.
“Do you love this world? Do you cherish your humble and silky life? Do you adore the green grass, with its terror beneath? Do you also hurry, half-dressed and barefoot, into the garden, and softly, and exclaiming of their dearness, fill your arms with the white and pink flowers, with their honeyed heaviness, their lush trembling, their eagerness to be wild and perfect for a moment, before they are nothing, forever?” ~Mary Oliver
